This excellent radio series<br />maps from 1951 to 2000 and plays the songs of the day as well as the current <br />affairs relevant to each year. I remember&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;">my brother calling me up on the phone to say some band called Oasis have&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;">a huge banner up in Liverpool, saying&nbsp; ''The Beatles are back, they are called Oasis''.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Oasis compared to all the other bands who tried to copy The Beatles had two advantages,&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;">the blending of the 1966 Beatles sound with the harsh attitude of the Sex Pistols and<br />Noel bloody Gallagher.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">When asked on Radio 2 recently, if he could have one record played he chose<br />Ticket to Ride from the Mono Box Remaster. He is a Beatles Head.
